Starting a business is not always easy and when you are a young mother some might argue that you face a lot of challenges. Not for this young mother! She lives in the Gahanga Sector of Kicukiro district in Kigali City.
Peninah is a young mother who lives in Kicukiro District, Gahanga Sector. She is a graduate of the #Women Empowerment program implemented by Faraja Rwanda in partnership with Cricket Builds Hope. “I started to save and now I sell farm produce and my goal for this year is to start a boutique in Gahanga sector” says Peninah.
FARAJA RWANDA (F.R) is a Rwandan non-profit, non-governmental organization, registered with Rwandan Government that strives to enhance the livelihoods of youth and women by providing them with market-relevant livelihood skills, training and post training support, technical hands-on training opportunities, linkages to finance and market, access to finance and other support services to take advantage of economic opportunities.
